Cases of robbery in Oldham have increased by more than 50% in a year and public order offences by 75%

In the year to March 2017 crime figures for Oldham show the following crimes all increased: public order offences increased by 74%, robbery by 52%, violence without injury by 29%, miscellaneous crimes against society by 29%, theft from person by 20%, possession of weapons by 20%, sexual offences by 10%, bicycle theft by 7%, all other theft offences by 6%, criminal damage and arson by 5%, violence with injury by 4%, domestic burglary by 2%.
