Cash strapped Oldham Council is adding £9970 extra to the salary of the revised Policy and Projects Officer for Health & Wellbeing because they fail to retain staff appointed to the post. While Oldham “Co-op” Council continues to champion a borough where everyone does their bit it appears it is ok for them to appoint people to positions of responsibility for improving public health who’s primary priorities are governed solely by their pay. The everyone in “everyone doing their bit” is a dwindling percentage of the Oldham population that contributes to the financial system’s of central & local Government rather than takes out.
