Today’s official migration figures release for the second quarter 2020 show that during the height of the pandemic lockdown April to June 2020 some 294 new adult migrants registered as living in Oldham with the highest numbers registering in Oldham’s current infection hotspot MSOA’s 022 Alexandra & 035 Werneth. There needs to be serious discussions with the heads in the sand politicos at Labour Oldham Council around the relentless stream of high fertility migrants into Oldham’s most overcrowded and deprived areas when the borough has neither the homes, jobs, schools or infrastructure to accommodate them.
