Oldham MP Debbie Abrahams has signed a pledge not to report illegal immigrants to the home office who attend her constituency office. She shared the link on social media for those who think this is not a legitimate story. Oldham housing, schools, the benefit system, jobs, the NHS & cohesion has been pushed to breaking point by the ludicrous levels of legal immigration in Oldham. Having our local political representatives call people who are here illegally constituents shows total disregard for all the people who live here legally, the rule of law and for the future prosperity of the borough. The Labour Party have been using the terrible windrush scandal as an excuse to ignore the issue of mass immigration as they have for decades, the UK or more to the point England cannot continue accommodating a million new migrants every three year. The joint statement these MP’s who are mainly from the Labour Party have signed states “As a member of parliament, I pledge to represent and advocate for all people living in my constituency as equal members of the local community, regardless of their immigration status. My constituency and surgery are safe places and I welcome all my constituents to seek representation free from fear of immigration enforcement. I will not report on anyone who seeks my advice to the Home Office for immigration enforcement and will ensure my office correctly handles sensitive personal information to prevent this from happening.”
