Sacha Lord has been running a Christmas promo for businesses from each of Greater Manchester’s ten boroughs the selected business gets their free advertisement on a huge electronic billboard in Manchester City centre. You may be surprised to learn that the Oldham business selected was 24 mocktails located at Mumps which is an alcohol free drink, food and shisha bar. This clearly goes against NHS, GMCA and mayor Andy Burnham’s policy to discourage smoking across the entire city region. Coincidently 24 Mocktails occupies the same building where Arooj Shah operated a Gelato lounge business but I wouldn’t dream of saying this stinks to high heaven of nepotism and abuse of political and social power by two people employed within or by local government, this is clearly nothing more than a coincidence.
