Today’s employment statistical release for October shows that Oldham continues to have the highest percentage of benefit claimants in all Greater Manchester and also by far the highest increase in claimants in the last year. This comes on top of the news that Labour Oldham economic success has also given Oldham people twelve consecutive years of the lowest average pay in Greater Manchester and an unreported four consecutive years of the highest numbers of unskilled migrants on record. The Council did at least get an award for your town centre oversized planter yet again so all is not doom and gloom under Labour control.
