I have no problem with people demonstrating about the terrible loss of life and atrocities committed in Palestine against innocent civilians but I do have a problem with gender segregation and gender apartheid practices in Oldham promoted by a Labour councillor. Chronic-Oldham first reported gender discriminative practices in Oldham over a decade ago. When your priorities for coaches to a peace demonstration include maintaining gender segregated hierarchies you need to take a long hard look at your archaic unacceptable practices in 21st century Britain.
