While Oldham residents continue to pay one of the highest council tax rates in the UK the austerity challenged Labour council pays consultants up to £800 a day

Nothing quite shows how Oldham Labour council has been struggling with budget cuts and austerity better than their list of consultants paid between £400 and £800 a day. Minimum wage in the UK pays just £65.68 for an hour working day. These figures are from a FOI request and only cover February 2016 to February 2018.
